NYC: BEST OF BRUNCH

NYC: BEST OF BRUNCH

Posted by CAMI NYC on

Could you truly call yourself a New Yorker if brunch wasn’t one of the most exciting events of the weekend? If you care about brunch as much as the Cami Crew does,  then you must read on!
Jack’s Wife Frieda: I’m sure you have heard of this SoHo hotspot before.  On any given Saturday and Sunday, hungry 20-somethings lineup around the block to dine here. Don't be put off by the long lines though, if you have the time and patience, it is totally worth it.   This is the fashion bloggers brunch haven, and you'll probably spot one or two while you're there (Man Repeller is a huge fan). What we suggest to order: Madame Freda pressed sandwich. It’s mouthwatering good.
Recette: Peanut butter and jam french toast... Need we say more? Located in the West Village, this is one brunch spot you will not want to miss.  This place is for the "brunchee" with an adventurous palette, as there are many interesting, yet amazing things to try on the menu.  What we recommend:  Literally, the PB&J French toast, also known as the “PB & J Pain Perdue” with earl grey milk jam and berries. If that doesn’t get you salivating at the mouth already, we don’t know what will. Gluten lovers, look no further than Recette!
Lure Fishbar:  Located at Mercer and Prince, Lure is really a fantastic brunch spot.  After scaling the large menu, we realized there truly is something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for more of the “I-need-something-greasy-and-filling-breakfast” or the “I-need-a-bikini-body-breakfast” everyone can find something here that will satisfy their taste buds.  For the hungry, we recommend the “Lumberjack Breakfast” and for the healthy, “the equinox".  Although slightly more expensive than the average brunch price, the variety and options that will come with your plate is something to take note of.  The only problem is that you’ll keep wanting to come back...
Chobani store: This is a SoHo gem! Although not exactly a sit-down brunch, it’s definitely a must try.  The soft serve greek yogurt tastes amazing with savory or sweet toppings.   If you are not a greek yogurt fan, they also have amazing bagels! Our pick: greek yogurt with toasted coconut and pineapple flavor.  It contains toasted coconut flakes, fresh pineapple, crushed hazelnuts and light agave nectar.  It’s so good, you might just order two!
Our brunch outfit recommendation to go along with the amazing menus!
